ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan received Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani, an imam at Makkah鈥檚 Grand Mosque.
The meeting was attended by Pakistani Religious Affairs Minister Noor Ul-Haq Qadri, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malik and other officials.
Khan expressed appreciation for King Salman鈥檚 efforts to unify the Muslim world so it can confront challenges, extremism and terrorism, as well as his efforts to serve the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims and Umrah performers. Khan also praised the visit to Pakistan by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
On Monday, Al-Juhani held talks with Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi.

Saudi-Pakistani relations are characterized by their shared visions on regional and international issues, as well as a shared desire to address the challenges facing the Muslim world, he added.
Alvi hailed the Saudi leadership鈥檚 efforts to serve the Two Holy Mosques, and the services provided to pilgrims every year.
