The BinDawood Group has expanded its footprint in the Kingdom by opening its 43rd Danube store which is its first in Taif. The 7,200 square meter hypermarket is located in the city’s Tera Mall. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on April 4, marking the first day of the store’s operations, attended by the BinDawood Group’s board members.
Ahmad A.R. BinDawood, CEO of Danube and BinDawood, said: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of the first Danube store in Taif city. The province of Makkah has special meaning for our group — the inception of our business began in the Makkah province more than 50 years ago. Expanding our footprint in the province by establishing a foothold in Taif with this state-of-the-art Danube store is a very proud moment for us.” He added: “The Danube brand is synonymous with best-in-class retail grocery product offering, and superior customer service and we are delighted to bring the Danube shopping experience to Talf’s residents.”
The Taif store will be online by May so Taif residents will also be able to experience Danube’s leading e-commerce grocery platform and order their groceries online by downloading the Danube app and on Danube.sa. Danube Online deliveries will commence next month.”
BinDawood has grown from a small trading business to one of the leading retailers in Ƶ. The group’s success story has been driven by constant innovation and commitment to building long-term relationships with suppliers, partners and customers.
