JEDDAH: Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) is participating in the UN Conference on Climate Change (COP 24) being held in the Polish city of Katowice from Dec. 3-14, 2018.
SABIC Vice-Chairman and CEO Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan said that SABIC’s participation was a reflection of its leadership in sustainability and sustainable development.
He stressed SABIC’s keenness to support the Saudi delegation, through its backing of the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Saudi delegation is headed by Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih.
