BEIRUT: The Head of the Morals Protection Bureau, G.H., has been arrested by Lebanese internal security forces on suspicion of his involvement in the management of prostitution networks.

Investigation into his involvement began immediately.

The news circulated through social media, prompting Internal Security Forces Director General Maj. Gen. Imad Othman to stress in a statement that “the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces is the only body authorized to announce the results of its investigations and rejects all the circulation of news and fabrications.”
