JEDDAH: ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s border patrols have seized 548 kilograms of cannabis after foiling several drug-smuggling attempts and arrested those involved.
Border guards spokesperson Col. Saher Al-Harbi said the narcotics were confiscated over a month, and a total of 35 people were arrested.
14 Ethiopians, 13 Yemenis, seven Saudis, and a Pakistani national were arrested after crossing over into the Kingdom’s southern border.
Al-Harbi said the suspects and the narcotics were handed to authorities to carry out the necessary procedures.
