DHAHRAN: King Abdul Aziz Center for World Culture’s Initiative, “Ithra,” aims to “make a tangible and positive impact on human development by inspiring a passion for knowledge, creativity, and cross-cultural engagement for the future of the Kingdom” — an ambition that ties into the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve social and cultural development and a knowledge-based economy that addresses all segments of society, focusing on a future generation of innovators and talented people.
The center, which has received more than 250,000 visitors since its opening, offers a unique cultural experience through the provision of several programs concurrently with Eid Al-Adha under the slogan “trips” in the period from Aug. 22 to 25.
Ali Al-Mutairi, director of Ithra Center, said that the program aims to provide a unique experience in the various sections of the center that will take visitors to a unique journey of thought, with an estimated 2.3 million visitors from 2018 to 2020.
“We believe that ‘Ithra’ can contribute significantly to these goals by focusing on fostering knowledge, creativity and cross-cultural interaction in many areas,” Mutairi said.
