LONDON: The eWorld Cup is coming home to Ƶ, after teenager Mosaad Al-Dossary on Saturday won the computer-console version of the real FIFA football tournament.
The young Saudi battled it out against Belgium’s Stefano Pinna to clinch a cool $250,000 prize in the competition held at The O2 in London.

After the game, which he won 4-0, he praised his family, coach and country — and received a standing ovation.
“I am really proud that I made my country proud. I am very grateful to my family and coach. Hopefully this is the start of my era and I can make my country proud every year,” the 18-year-old said.

More than 20 million gamers vied for a spot in the annual eWorld Cup, with just 32 making it to the finals.
Competitors play Fifa 18, the pre-eminent football video game, in its Ultimate Team mode.
Al-Dossary has already won the FUT Champions Cup Manchester this year and has now seen off the challenge of 31 other gamers at The O2.
