DUBAI: Yemen’s National Army forces, backed by the Popular Resistance and Arab coalition forces, were able on Friday to liberate new areas in western province of Taiz.

A military source told Yemen’s news agency that the army forces liberated areas in the West Bank including Kuwait Secondary School.

The militia imposed a siege over the past two day in these areas, the source said.

Engineering teams of the army began to extract mines planted by the militias before escaping.
