DUBAI: Yemeni tribes in the Houthi stronghold of Saada said in a statement Wednesday they reject the Houthi militia coup, which has been backed by Iran.
The statement said the tribes rejected any sort of power based on sectarian or racial factors, Saudi news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported.
The statement added that the Saada-based tribes would form a political committee that would meet with ambassadors of the Arab Coalition member states.
