Gunmen wounded Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal in attack on Sunday.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned attack on Interior Minister.
“The Prime Minister has called for immediate report into the incident from IG Police Punjab,” PM office said in brief statement available with Arab News.
Minister Ahsan Iqbal was in his home town Narowal, a district in Punjab province, where he was attacked.
Ahsan Iqbal was immediately shifted to the hospital and according to initial details he is out of danger.
