Jeddah Univeristy also announced the closure of its main headquarters and all its branches due to the weather, which is predicted to bring high winds and dust.
The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection said it expects that unstable weather conditions will prevailÌýon MondayÌýacross Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais.Ìý
Following an emergency committee meeting, Spokesman for Jeddah Education Authority, Hamood al-Suqairan, said in line with reports received from the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection on the weather situation, it has been decided that schools will be closed as per the terms approved by the Ministry of Education to ensure the safety and security of students.Ìý
Meanwhile, Makkah’s Education Authority also announced that schools will be closed to ensure the safety of studentsÌýdue to windyÌýandÌýdusty weather with warnings of low visibility.ÌýÌýÌý
