DUBAI: The UAE and Egypt are among a list of 11 countries launching the most innovative buildings in 2018, UK’s the Telegraph reported.
Four structures for the United Arab Emirates, including the recently-opened 150 meter by 93 meter Dubai Frame, and Egypt’s 24,000 square meter Grand Museum made the list.
Other UAE structures featured were the 66,000 squad meter Mohammed bin Rashid Library and Dubai International Financial Center’s 53-story office tower ICD Brookfield Place.
Turkey also made the list with Istanbul’s new airport, which was designed by Nordic Architecture.
The list also featured India’s 117-story World One tower, and Malaysia’s soon-to-be tallest building, the Merdeka PNB 118.
