Indian, Pakistani troops exchange fire across military control line in Kashmir (Source: Xinhua)

Xinhua report from New Delhi states that Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged heavy fire across the military line of control in Kashmir on 12 January, which started in the night and was continuing until the receipt of latest reports. The exchange of firing is taking place in Kamalkote sector of frontier Uri town, about 117 km northwest of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-administered Kashmir.
