As part of its ongoing effort to help people achieve more through better health, Abbott was a gold-level sponsor at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) annual conference, that was recently held in Riyadh.
The event provided a link between the SFDA and the private and public sectors by fostering scientific dialogue about improving health care throughout the Kingdom. Through an exhibition, leaders in key fields were introduced to Abbott’s innovative and life-changing technologies.
Present in the region for more than 75 years, Abbott has introduced new approaches in nutrition, diagnostics, medical devices and branded generic pharmaceuticals. Aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030, the conference reinforced long-term cooperation with the SFDA to upgrade the level of health care, Saudization of the pharmaceutical industry and transfer of technology.
