Yemen calls on humanitarian organizations to deliver relief aid through liberated ports, airports

ADEN: Abdulraqib Fatih, Yemeni minister of local administration and chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief, has called on UN organizations working in aid and humanitarian domains to play an effective role in receiving and delivering relief aid through the port of Aden, and ports and airports in other liberated provinces.

The government is represented by the Higher Committee for Relief is committed to facilitate delivery of aid shipments to all governorates, through local partners from civil society organizations working in the field of relief across Yemeni governorates, Fatih told Yemen News Agency.

He reiterated the commitment of the Higher Committee for Relief to abide by internationally recognized standards of neutrality, transparency and accountability in dealing with relief aid.
