JEDDAH: ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ on Monday announced the names of 40 members of the Houthi militia who are involved in various terrorist activities. The authorities have also announced financial rewards for information leading to their arrests.
According to an official statement, the action has been taken to curb the activities of the Houthis to harm the Kingdom’s security with the support of the Iranian regime.
The statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the increased cooperation between the Iranian-backed Houthis and Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy in Lebanon, in terms of exchanging expertise and military capabilities, is a direct threat to the Kingdom’s security and stability.
Saudi authorities have urged people with any information about any of those whose name is on the list of wanted to contact the appropriate authorities. According to the statement, informants’ identities will be kept secret.
