The agreement between du and OSN was signed on the sidelines of GITEX 2017.

du, a leading telecommunication provider in the region, has signed a new partnership agreement with OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network, on the sidelines of GITEX 2017.
Under the agreement, du will provide its customers with an exclusive subscription to OSN’s new online and mobile app entertainment platform — WAVO — for no additional cost until Dec. 31.
“We are pleased to announce our latest partnership with OSN during GITEX 2017, and offer our customers the latest in streaming entertainment services through WAVO. Digitalization is paving the way for the future of TV, and as an adaptive and agile ICT provider, we strive to add value through innovation for all our customers,” said Osman Sultan, chief executive, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications, du. “Our latest partnership with OSN enables us to further bolster our offering, not just for our TV customers, but for customers who rely on multiple screens for their entertainment needs.”
Martin Stewart, chief executive of OSN, said: “Building on OSN’s mantra of ‘anywhere, anytime’ entertainment, we’re giving more customers across the region the chance to enjoy all that WAVO has to offer, with something for everyone across an incredible spectrum of genres. This is a fantastic way to further our longstanding partnership with du, by strengthening our bond with this additional exclusive agreement.”
The extended partnership also includes du becoming the exclusive third-party distributer for WAVO in the UAE, and its customers will get an exclusive subscription to WAVO content till the end of 2017. It is available on mobile devices and tablets (iOS/Android), as well as Samsung, LG smart TVs or PCs.
Entertainment options include English and Arabic programming, across hit TV series, blockbuster movies and live sporting events.
WAVO also capitalizes on some of OSN’s exciting partnerships with leading studios like HBO and Disney, giving subscribers in the region access to some of the world’s greatest shows, including Emmy Award winning hits, Westworld and Big Little Lies; as well as Disney family favorites.
