A flawed tweet in Hindi posted by the prime minister of the Netherlands is making waves on social media in India.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte tweeted in Hindi at his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Tuesday, after the visiting prime minister sent a series of tweets in Dutch.
However, the was one issue with the well-meaning tweet — there were no spaces between the words.
“Welcome to the Netherlands @narendramodi Our bilateral relations go back 70 years and with that I am extremely excited about our meeting," the faulty tweet read.
Indian Twitter users were quick to point out the mistake, with a flurry of jokes and snide comments.
