Arab Bureau of Education to hold 76th session Tuesday

The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) will hold its 76th session at its headquarters in Riyadh Tuesday and Wednesday.
The session will be attended by ministers of education in ABEGS member-states, the Arab Center for Educational Research in the Gulf States in Kuwait, the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States in Doha and the Educational Center for Arabic language in Sharja.
The agenda will include important topics, such as a strategic plan for 2015 to 2020, which was developed based on the determination of the ministers of education in member states in their 22nd general conference held in Bahrain in October 2012.
Moreover, they will also discuss and assess progress for the implementation of office programs for the current and coming fiscal year, according to a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report.
Other educational issues and developments in education on the regional and global level will also be discussed in the framework of joint work to achieve the aspirations of the member-states.
