ABOUT ARAB NEWS UNIVERSITY

Arab News University is the internal Arab News training and development unit for staff and interns.

The university offers a variety of courses and programs in journalism for continuous learning and to give trainees productive opportunity to gain more knowledge from their comfort zone.

From our editorial network, we identified instructors that can deliver this knowledge and training through masterclasses, workshops, courses and one-on-one sessions. The courses offered will be taught by in-house experts as well as ones from our partnerships with well known organizations such as AFP, CNN, LinkedIn, the Misk Foundation and Media Unlimited.

MISK FOUNDATION TRAINING

Arab News, the Middle East’s leading English-language daily, and the Misk Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers Saudi youth, has been partnering annually to bring to life a three-week intensive internship program. Providing a unique hands-on training and mentorship program for young Saudi graduates pursuing journalism.

Interns learn about the methods of covering a wide range of topics from regional and global issues through some of the most experienced correspondents at Arab News across the business, lifestyle, politics, local and regional news desks.
